yay finally went for some real traveling.. took a train to horsens, a place in denmark where the european medieval festival was held.. took my first train in europe! haha.. it's very comfortable! no wonder the others say it's more comfortable than the plane.. which is true...
but the weather was horrible! it was 12 degrees in the morning before i left my dorm.. at least according to my lappie lah.. the wind was horribly colder than usual but still manageable.. but when we got there it started raining! the rain was horrible. it came and went continuously throughout the day.. there was this time when it was so heavy and the winds were so strong tt the umbrella will flip upwards and cold that you can wince when the wind blows. we were all huddling tgt even when all of us have our own umbrellas. like 4 umbrellas huddling together in a corner trying to hide from the wind.. anw our jeans and shoes were totally wet which makes matters worse coz it made us cold throughout the rest of the day.. even when there was no wind. the weather is like, just cold... to the extent that we were shivering in the cold, with numb hands and feet. and for the first time in my life, i can see the smoke coming out when we talk or laugh.. it was that cold.. and just a few days ago alicia could still wear shorts lah.. wad's wrong wif the weather here.. tsk...
i think i'm starting to get used to the prices here. -.- i can't be bothered that much anymore. my hot chocolate is much more impt than trying to save money, esp when it concerns my survival .. even if the hot chocolate is from a cafe and it costs sgd5.60 for a very small cup.. and since we're here alr, might as well try the food here too.. esp at the festival.. but anw the festival was quite happening.. the ppl really dress up.. it felt like we were in narnia.. so diff from sg... anw pics are up in fb!
oh and we met this really nice lady.. we were buying train tickets back to our place at abt 10pm from a machine since the counters are closed. she was in front of us in the queue and before she left, she turned back and asked if we know how to use the machine and if we need help.. coz everything's in danish.. but anw there was a english option so it was alright.. but still she's so nice! haha..

arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! omggggggggggg........ i only got 2 mods?! i applied for 4 here, can map over to 5 in nus.. and i only got 2!!!!!!!! it's damn sucky... how dumb can it get? i applied for organisational theory (equivalent to 8mc) and am gg to map it over to ob and oe in sg.. but they din allow coz they say i haven take ob yet... !!!!!! omg..... and i applied for corp fin 2 (gg to map over to ia) and they din even process it apparently.. it's not even in my list and dunno whether i got it or not.. the other 2 i got it alr.. and another fren applied for corp fin 1 (mapping over to corp fin in nus) and they say she dun hav the prerequisites.. but she alr took finance in nus alr.. wad other prerequisites do they want?! and they choices of modules this sem is so little lah!! i can't find anything else to map over alr!!!!!!!!!!!! argh...

today was surprisingly hot.. in fact the temp in aarhus now is supposedly 29degrees and 26 in sg.. so now it's acty warmer than sg! haha.. ahh kinda wish the weather would remain like this.. sunny, but windy such that u cant feel the heat.. tho might get burned w/o knowing.. haha.. anw we went to the 'beach'.. no sandy beaches and nice seawaters.. just boardways and water... but it was really windy there.. haha.. went back to city to have lunch walk ard abit then went back to hostel.. tiring...
wq keeps tempting me abt sg food... -.- like char siew bao, xlb, dimsum, etc.. i wan dimsum feast!!! haha.. for now, the troublesome thing is meals.. haha.. no idea wad to eat for meals... lol.. now i understand the trouble my mum goes through when cooking for us...

argh.. looking at the pics on fb, i'm suddenly missing the xlb buffet.. haha.. can we hav 1 when i go back? *_* i'm missing sg food alr.. like beehoon, claypot rice, laksa, carrot cake... yum.. haha but i bought ice-cream here.. 24 stick ice cream (random inclu. 7 cornettos) for abt sgd 25-27.. quite cheap lah hor? considering tt 1 cornetto is like at least 2 bucks.. and the rest are like stick ice cream loh.. the main point is they're chocolate flavoured!! haha.. think i too long nv eat chocolate le... =p ahh maybe shld buy marshmallows and melt chocolate one of the nights.. haha... if they aren't too ex.. or when i get more used to the price here and willing to spend more.. haha...
think i'm gaining weight here.. =x eating quite late at nite.. dinner is at abt 8+.. or 9 if we take a long time to cook.. haha.. and i'm not doing much now.. since there's nth much to do at the moment either.. haha.. hopefully the supposedly half-hour walk to sch nxt time will help me exercise.. haha.. tho i prob nid to store fats to keep warm.. hahaha...

ahh.. now i believe wad xy says by the cold is not nice.. haix.. learnt to appreciate sg's sun... acty now the weather isn't that cold lah.. abt 18 degrees like that.. but when the wind blows it's like 12 degrees.. or so i feel lah.. i dunno how cold it really is.. haha.. i used to think cold was better than hot.. now i change my mind.. haha.. hot at least u can just go turn on the aircon.. cold u cant really do anything.. =x haha.. cl i think u better dun choose sweden for ur noc.. dun think u can take the cold.. coz i alr cant take the cold here.. haha...
life here is damn slack.. i have nothing to do.. haha.. just cooping myself up in the room watching videos online and trying to figure out the map i have... there's still 1 wk to intro wk, then school starts on 31th aug..
anw i hate buying groceries!! haha.. have to carry all the things back such a long way.. and we even got lost, or rather walked into deadends twice while trying to take a shortcut back to the hostel.. haix.. no more shortcuts for me... a supposed half hour walk took more than 1 hr.. walk till damn tired.. gg to explore and look for the nearest and cheapest grocery tmr...
had abit of problem adjusting to the time here coz i keep waking up before 2pm sg time, which is 8am denmark time.. no matter wad time i slp.. even if i went to slp at 9am sg time (3am denmark time).. argh.. no wonder my mum said i look tired.. shld slp more here while i can.. haha...

oh yeah forgot to write about pre-departure.. must rem to mention the very nice guy who lent me his hp when i lost my hp and needed to contact my dad.. coz i went to get the extension for luggage limit on the morning i was supposed to fly, and the office was in the cdb area, so i was supposed to call my dad to pick me up when i'm done coz he cant find a place to park.. but i dropped my phone and couldn't call him.. so i borrowed from this person and finally contacted my dad. we went off to a parking lot to search the car coz i tot i left my phone on the car.. couldn't find it so went back to the office to see if i dropped it nearby.. the nice guy walked passed again and saw me.. then he came back to me and wanted to lend me his hp again coz he tot i haven found my dad again.. so i told him i was just looking for my lost phone.. then he said he was just concerned.. so nice rite..
anw luckily just before i left my house some person called my house and said they found my phone.. so went to collect it before gg to airport.. haix.. hectic day tt i was so tired tt i fell aslp even on the short flight to thailand.. and i slept thru the long distance flight.. haha..
oh yah.. can't forget to mention my relatives.. my aunts and their family who came to my house specially to ask about me and wish me a safe trip, pass me hand moisturiser, and some stuff for me. thanks alot to them as well. i know they care for me and my family alot. and thanks for all the random sms that show ur concern for me as well... =)
first day in aarhus!
4:50 AMit's damn tiring.. it's like 4.49am 14th august (sg time).. flew for abt 24 hours.. damn suay again and missed the stupid shuttle bus that brings me to the city.. so in the end had to take the damn expensive cab to the sch to collect my key.. if not can't make it in time to get my key.. haix..
but anw thanks to all those tt came to send me off and sent me sms and fb, everything.. really appreciate all your concerns.. i know i am loved.. thanks alot.. =)
i'm not gg to deny it but i cried on my first day here.. but dun worry lah.. i'm just missing sg and all of ur.. and all the messages so touching.. purposely wan to make me cry one... thanks for everyone's concern and care... first time on my bday din get to eat my mum's mee sua.. the one my nephew loves to eat.. haha.. and i think partly coz i regret making my parents worry so much for me.. and i din even like spend extra time with them before i left.. i know they are very worried about me.. and i feel bad knowing that i selfishly made this decision
my family is kinda conservative and we don't really celebrate birthdays. so when i received my mum's msg.. (tho prob sent by my dad) which told me the usual stuff like be healthy and be safe.. and then asked 'are u happy? happy bday..' i was really touched and sad at the same time and almost made me break down into tears.. i think they prob meant it as in 好玩吗？tt kind of happy.. but it sounded like 你快乐吗？and it made me miss them even more.. it made me regret even more that i did this to them.. i know my dad regrets letting me go.. and i feel v bad for giving myself such a selfish bday present..
haix.. argh i'm just emo-ing late into the nite.. i shld slp earlier.. anw.. finally kinda settled down in my room.. unpacking and rearranging the stuff now.. haix.. i miss my bolster and my own bed.. =x lucky i brought pon along.. haha.. things here are damn ex...... but the weather is nice lah.. at least in the day time.. it's sunny but damn windy.. quite shuang.. but evening then temp drop like siao.. just like at 7 or 8pm in the evening but it looks like 5 or 6 in the evening (still v bright) but the wind is like damn chilling.. even colder than aircon until i'm like shivering like mad.. the wind goes past my sweater and jeans somemore.. haix.. nid to wear more layers liao... lol~

yay last min packing to be done and weighing of luggage... T_T baggage limit is quite low.. so hav to see how i stuff my things or hopefully as lucky as xy to be able to get past the customs with an overweight luggage.. i need to squeeze pon pon in and maybe buy a bolster over there... =p
