omg the temperature is dropping like mad.. i think for the whole of this week, max temp is 14 degrees celsius, min 7, lowest wind chill is 4?! omg.. and apparently there's gg to be heavy rain this saturday.. noooooooooo... it's maf and legoland trip!! don't let the rain spoil the trip.. hope the weather forecast is wrong.. haha...

ahhhhhhhh omg i'm so sorry!! made nat wait outside our block for me coz i couldn't wake up... =x ahh.. feel so bad.. haix... was supposed to go to sch today but coz i woke up too late, so we didn't go in the end. and i was supposed to pick up the reserved txbk and go photocopy it and the other txbk that nat has already. but haix.. can photocopy another day also lah but... haix.. stupid alarm clock.. i din even hear anything...
maybe too tired already.. this few days have been rather hectic..
24092009 thursday: dinner gathering at alicia's place.. then we went to pubquiz after that.. think we only went back to our place at abt 2, 3 am? bx stayed over at my place.. the nite was freaking cold.. luckily our dorm was <5 minutes walk..
26092009 saturday: went to this 'bad taste party' at the pub at our dorm.. the attendance was pathetic.. but at least we could get the nice sofa seats.. haha.. we just drank abit of alcohol and played daidee as usual.. haha.. until abt 1 or 2am and went back to our dorm..
28092009 monday: dinner gathering at bx's place this time.. hung out until about 1130pm before we rushed to catch our last bus back to our place.. this time it's really freaking cold.. we braved the chilly winds back to our place and i was more or less conked out already.. but i still watched finish the speical and last episode of the drama i was watching (proposal daisakusen) then conk out..
AND TODAY I WOKE UP LATE!!! OMG.. i can't imagine what would happen during winter.. i'd probably stay in bed the whole day.. it's prob gg to be nite for me all the way.. oh yeah forgot to mention that my room is probably one of the worse off ones, coz i don't even have a ceiling light.. i only have my hallway light and a table lamp.. i thought it was normal until i realise all the others have a ceiling light, and most of them have shelves also.. my shelves were just installed the other day coz alicia had extra shelves.. thanks to her now my table is at least a bit less messy..
haix.. i'm getting lazier and lazier to blog and upload pics.. but i'm in such a terrible and sian mood that i'm doing all these at one go.. can't concentrate on anything.. not even watching dramas.. ahhh i'm gg crazy.. maybe it's pms.. post though.. ahhhhh i'm weird...
who knows abt the future? this blog will prob die off sooner or later.. i have the tendency to blog alot only when i'm emo.. and it has its own place also, so it won't appear here either.. somehow i usually too lazy to blog abt the happy things.. they occasionally might appear.. but usually it's more abt the emo and things i think too much about.. haix.. it's strange huh? usually ppl want to rem the happy things isn't it? why would i want to rem the sad stuff and let them leave a mark in my life? i should blog more about happy stuff and forget all the bad things...
i think, to me, everything is worth remembering.. that's why i still have my secondary textbooks somewhere in my house.. i didn't want to throw them away last time, and argued with my dad that time.. he wanted to throw them.. it was around j2 i think.. they had memory value to me that time.. i knew 10 years down the road i'd prob just throw them away without a care.. but just at that moment, i didn't want to throw them... actually let alone 10 years, i might even consider throwing them away now. but i guess not yet.. prob 1 or 2 more years.. when there's probably going to be more changes in my family, in my life.. i'll probably throw them away then...

oh yah.. another interesting ovservation to add after today's lecture.. most of the ppl acty sit in the front! when we went in the first row was filled.. the last few rows only had a few ppl sitting.. strange phenomenon huh? no wonder wq became weirder after coming back.. she must have been influenced.. anw realised something else during the lect today.. i'm so lazy to the extent that i can't be bothered to even move my head when i'm reading stuff... haha.. like to see the slides i'll move my eyeballs upwards, and downwards when i need to read or write stuff on my paper.. hahah.. coz i realise when i'm reading/writing on my paper i'm not looking through my specs.. then i was thinking why do i need to read until so xin1 ku3.. hahaha.. omg i'm turning weird too...

time fries~
2:56 AMactually i realise time flies.. when i first reached here, i was thinking 4.5 months here.. it's gg to be a long time... but come to think of it, i've been here for almost a month already. it's already going to be mid-september. wanna travel have to plan in advance as much as possible, then we realise we don't have much time to travel also. there's so many places to go to yet so little time.. just 2-3 weeks more and no more strat mno lectures! then it'll be tutorial all the way.. and in about 5-6 weeks more, corp fin 1 will finish! 1 mod down.. then corp fin 2 starts again.. omg this reminds me of the corp fin 2 lecturer.. it's the same one as the intl corp fin one.. which means i'll prob fall asleep. haix.. slow and naggy... and corp fin 2 is supposedly ia.. omgggggg... ll and cl lend me ur ia notes liao lah.. but anw maybe that day i fell aslp was coz i only had 4 hours slp tt day.. so maybe it's not his fault lah hor? haha...

unsafe?
6:35 AMhaha i just realise today that maybe my area isn't very safe afterall.. apparently there's been robberies at some banks, thus the occurrence of some non-cash banks that we came across. they say because of the robberies so they changed those banks to non-cash banks, so we couldn't pay our rent at those banks last time. then today i just heard that supposedly there was this night that there were buglars hiding in the bushes near our dorm or nearby and there were helicopters looking for them. my friend say she heard the helicopter sounds and it was very noisy. i guess i didn't notice i guess. at most i find that sometimes it's very loud at night but never realised helicopters.. o.O i guess i need to be more vilgilent. or maybe this was nearer to her block (her block is quite abit distance from mine.. ) so maybe i wasn't aware. but it's kinda scary.. hahaha.. i can imagine my parents freaking out if they know about it SO I DON'T WANT THEM TO HEAR OF THIS AT ALL! (understand?)
anw decided to make my own lunch to sch.. food here is too expensive.. a sandwich for sgd7.. i can buy a subway meal with that loh, plus cookies and drink. here i only get a sandwich.. though it's usually filling.. but i seem to be getting hungry more easily now! T_T haix.. but this means i have to wake up extremely early to make lunch! haix.. we shall see how lah.. i'll prob just bring bread and jam if i'm lazy.. but i'll get hungry again easily.. haha... anw got 8am lesson tmr!! argh.. have to wake up at 6+... and now is almost 1am liao.. shld go slp soon.. insufficient slp these days.....

brain-dead..
1:04 AMprinting is such a chore! trying to squeeze all the notes together so as to minimize the no. of pages i have to print here.. why? coz printing 1 page here costs about 10cents.. and i've already spent sgd10+ on printing the notes for 1 mod.. i don't know if there'll be any more mods. anw was thinking of printing the readings out too.. but i've changed my mind now. as much as i don't like it, i have no choice but to read from my lappie.. T_T i'll definitely get distracted by other stuff one lah! haix.. and the txbks.. haix.. so damn expensive here.. 1 txbk is prob abt sgd140 only lah.. tho it can be used for 2 modules.. v cheap mah.. sgd70 for 1 mod only.. even if we buy from sg and ship it over here by the time ship over here also abt sgd 70-80 liao ba.. haix.. only way is prob to photocopy the bk, and print 2-to-1.. but will spend so much time.. haix.. dunno yet lah.. see how first.. can get our hands on the bk first then say. so many ppl reserve the bk at the lib alr.. i think by the time we get the books, the mod finish already. (the available date for the bk last time i checked was end oct.. ) corp fin 1 would have ended already.. -.- how convenient. we get a new start with corp fin 2!
haix.. wadever lah.. was busy editing and deleting slides from the lecture notes just now for 10+ lectures until i headache already.. 1 of the notes have 188 slides.. alot of redundent slides lah.. and the lect is 3.5 hours long.. haha.. luckily this is only gg to last for 4 weeks only.. i already said their system here is weird.. the lectures for this modules (biz policy) only lasts for 4 weeks, but each session is 3.5 hours. then there's tutorials throughout the sem lah.. but yah.. lecture is slack i guess.. and there's supposedly webcast for it!! *_* but i dunno where to find the webcast.. T_T if can pon it then i'll hav friday free! (i have a 5 day wk for this month.. haix...)
oh wells.. i've been ranting on and on about how expensive the expenses are over here and modules only.. haha.. anw looking at a thousand lots of possibilities to travel.. it's very troublesome! look and think about the possibilities until headache.. but i definitely, absoulutely want to go prague! DBSK went there to have their photoshoot last time! and they went to france and germany before too.. the must-visit countries! if possible i wanna take pictures at the exact same locations! *_* but no idea where yet.. need to go do research.. hahaa.. i've found my goal in life! or rather goal while i'm in europe for now.. it's to retrace their footsteps! wahaha.. =D btw jaejoong sang a song called footsteps before.. hahaha.. omg i'm back to my old self.. *happy* haha and i type until my hand cramp le.. baking!
5:52 AMbought a brownie mix with nat at the mart last time.. so today we tried baking it! haha.. we took quite a while to start baking it after lunch coz all the instructions were in either in danish or some other language that we don't understand! so we typed out the foreign language and translated them into english.. apparently most of those websites give funny answers that kinda don't make sense, but i guess u can agar agar guess the meaning ba.. lol.. anw so we started baking the brownies.. and left it to cool until nite time and cooked the icing after our dinner.. haha.. the brownie was abit burnt coz we used the wrong setting, and it was more like chocolate cookie.. double chocolate cookie coz it was damn chocolatey! i guess this can satisfy my chocolate craving here.. haha.. but it's really heaty and very very very chocolatey sweet.. the pictures look nice lah, especially the macro ones.. haha.. but it's acty kinda hard (not the brownie kinda soft) and very very very thick chocolatey.. haha.. pictures are in fb~

funny/weird things..
11:26 PMit's funny how we take off our jackets during the lesson here, and only wear our jackets when we're gg out of the lt.. in sg it was go into lt and wear ur jacket.. haha.. it's rather warm indoors.. def no need for a jacket.. it's going out that sometimes even a jacket won't be enough.. haha..
also, i've come to the conclusion that umbrellas in singapore cannot withstand the winds here. so far all our umbrellas have flipped.. and mine will probably be spoilt sooner or later.. i dunno if their umbrellas here are more durable or not, coz usually we don't see many ppl using umbrellas. they just use the hoods on their coats to cover their head.. luckily the rain here is always short drizzles, but the wind is still horrible. i think we use the umbrella to shelter ourselves from the wind more than the rain itself.. the wind was so cold that even the umbrella handle was icy cold and my fingers felt like icicles. haha.. i want the sun back!!!

5:58 PMi need to stop waking up half an hour before i need to leave my dorm.. haha.. i always set my alarm 1hr or 1.5hr before i need to leave.. but i'll just off my alarm and go back to sleep.. then i'll wake up by myself half an hour before.. then i'll be rushing all over the place.. haha.. it's a miracle how i manage to wake up just in time by myself to rush at least.. i'm afraid i'll lose this ability then i'll really wake up very late for all my lessons.. haha.. so far.. lessons have been slack.. lectures most of the time.. but now is just the start.. the sem is gg to get busy.....

settled!
6:09 PMfinally settled my mods.. though i'm taking 1 extra mod here.. might not be able to map it back.. it's so dumb.. to take corp fin 2 i hav to take corp fin 1.. but i've alr taken the equivalent of corp fin 1 in nus.. dunno if i can still find anything to map corp fin 1 to.. see how loh.. it's so strange here.. they dun care abt the vacancies of the classes. as long as u hav the prerequisites they allow u to take it. and they dun care if ur lessons clash and u wan to pon one of them.. haha.. and like corp fin 1 only has lessons from now till midterm, then corp fin 2 starts aft the midterm to the end of the sem.. but it's 2 modules.. strange ppl...
but anw it's strange how the guy in charge of modules always play the same joke on me.. haha.. the first time i went to see him with my fren to get our modules, when it was my turn he told me he cant help me even before i said anything.. but he was just joking lah.. this time i went again with my frens, and once again he said the same thing.. -.- but he's quite a nice person.. coz we went as a grp of 5 ppl, and he let us play with his magnetic darts in his office while the rest of us are talking to him abt the modules.. haha.. it was quite fun..
then we went to town after tt to pay for the rent, but din manage to coz we had to withdraw the money by cash and pay the invoice. so troublesome.. but just found out nordea bank can withdraw more! haha.. so nxt time i shall go nordea bank to withdraw money liao.. if not i can only withdraw 3 times a month! haha..
